Kick-off meeting

The SMARCOAT kick-off meeting was held in Aveiro on the 24th and 25th of February with the presence of representatives from all the partner institutions.

During the first day, at the University of Aveiro, formal presentations and informal talks during the coffee breaks and social dinner allowed to discuss the technical aspects of the project (main goal, objectives, institutional presentations, management details and secondments procedures) as well as to further the contacts between the participants.

The second day started at Smallmatek Lda., where the working packages of the project were discussed in detail and the facilities of the company were presented. The afternoon was spent in a city tour and a trip in Ria de Aveiro by typical Aveiro boats called Moliceiros.
